The Digisonic®SP Binaural implant is an innovative solution to recreate binaural hearing in adults.
The 24 channel implant allows stimulation of both the ipsi- and contro-lateral ears: • one short electrode array with 12 electrodes stimulates the ipsi-lateral side • one long electrode array with 12 electrodes stimulates the contro-lateral side. The long electrode array is placed under the gallea. The benefit of such a system is that only one Digi SP speech processor is used. The Digisonic®SP Binaural implant is compatible with Digi SP processor. |
